Firebrake - Exhibition Design & Build
Client Brief
Firebrake are an organisation set up and funded by the Welsh Assembly to promote fire safety throughout Wales. They required a display stand which would be both durable and versatile.
Firebrake attends Eisteddfods and Hotel Conference suites and the display stand needed to be re-configured to fit the available venue.

They also required the stand to display: 2 x 42” plasma screens, a display wall for literature, a
counter for meeting visitors and provision for a meeting and seating area.

Solution
We offered the Nimlok Concept stand for its modern and elegant look. We provided Firebrake with CAD visuals of the proposed stand to help them finalise the design. The stand was to
incorporate literature dispensers, a plasma screens and meeting areas.

We also provided a fabric banner to raise the height of the stand to 3 metres for extra impact.

Installation was simple as the design consisted of interlocking upright posts and cross bars fitted with an allen key tool. It was no more difficult than erecting Octonorm panels.

The order (including design) was completed in 25 working days.

This display stand has been installed several times by Semaphore. Venues include the Urdd Eisteddfod in Carmarthen, The National Eisteddfod as well as the Royal Welsh Show and several
Conference Suites throughout Wales.

The order consisted of:
• Design of graphics and Exhibition Stand
• Display stand, graphics, lighting and carry cases
• Furniture, Touch Screen Monitors, Laptops, Audio Equipment
• Installation, breakdown and store at Semaphore

Total cost: £29,000 + vat
